Description:

Fisherman in Town is a text-based simulation game featuring charming pixel art. It immerses players in the lifestyle of a fisherman attempting to navigate city life.

The protagonist, the fisherman, must manage key attributes such as energy level, happiness, satiety, and sleepiness. Maintaining these vital stats requires eating, resting, and engaging in extracurricular activities — all necessitating work to support.

Generating income primarily revolves around selling fish. Different fishing skills yield various types of fish, each with distinct qualities and market values. The game offers multiple fishing methods, each tied to a proficiency level that evolves with player engagement, thereby influencing catch rates and fish quality.

Upon amassing enough wealth to acquire a boat, the fisherman can enlist other fishermen as employees, assuming the role of a fledgling entrepreneur. This progression also introduces a need for bait to operate effectively.

For those who ascend to tycoon status, investment in a fish farm becomes viable for breeding purposes. However, farming entails bait consumption relative to the fish population maintained.

A range of equipment is accessible to enhance the fisherman's capabilities. Each piece serves a unique function but requires purchase via proceeds from fish sales. Initially limited to hand fishing, players can unlock various equipment with diverse upgrade levels offering new abilities upon enhancement, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.

The fisherman's humble beginnings in a tent impact daily happiness levels. Upgrading to a house not only boosts mood but unlocks additional benefits with each progression.

Ongoing actions alter the fisherman's vital stats — energy level, satiety, sleepiness, and happiness — with potential health implications if these metrics deplete entirely. Proper care through adequate rest and sustenance is crucial to mitigating health risks or even potential demise based on lifestyle choices.

An array of activities awaits players through diversions like visiting bars, engaging in town events, seeking medical assistance, or investing in local enterprises using funds accrued from fish sales.

The game interface elegantly displays game time in the upper right corner initially synchronized with real-world time on players' devices. Each fishing activity carries a temporal element; upon selecting an action, an estimated completion time surfaces. Progressing game time necessitates manual advancement by clicking the "Next Hour" button or activating an auto timer through settings.
